Let’s say you are traveling from the north, near Shepherd Park:

  • Traveling toward Rock Creek Park, take 17th St NW north until it turns into Kalmia Rd NW. 

  • Take a left at the intersection of Kalmia Rd and E Beach Dr NW, and then take a left onto West Beach Dr NW.

  • After passing over Rock Creek, take a left onto Beach Dr NW and continue until you can take the first right onto Wise Rd NW.

  • Continue on Wise Rd NW through Rock Creek Park until you reach Chestnut St NW, then continue straight for half a mile until you reach Western Ave NW.

  • Turn left onto Western Ave NW and continue straight for 1.2 miles, passing the Northwest 8 Boundary Stone, Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament church, until you reach Chevy Chase Circle.

  • At Chevy Chase Circle, take the 4th exit to stay on Western Ave NW. You should pass by the All Saints Church, Chevy Chase Baptist Church, and the Northwest 7 Boundary Stone. 

  • Continue on Westen Ave NW past the Chevy Chase Recreation Center, Wisconsin Ave, and River Rd NW until you reach Brandywine St NW, then turn left onto Brandywine. 4964 Brandywine St should be the second house on your right!

Let’s say you are traveling from the south, near Georgetown: 

  • Take Wisconsin Ave NW toward Observatory Circle and the United States Naval Observatory. Continue past the Embassy of Russian Federation until you reach Massachusetts Ave NW and Cathedral Ave NW. Turn left onto Cathedral Ave NW, then turn right onto Massachusetts Ave NW.

  • Continue on Massachusetts Ave NW for 0.9 miles until you reach Ward Circle Park. Stay in the middle two lanes, and continue straight onto Massachusetts Ave NW for 1.1 miles, passing the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center, until you reach Westmoreland Circle. 

  • At Westmoreland Cir NW, turn right onto Western Ave NW. Continue until you reach the next right at Brandywine St, then turn right. 4964 Brandywine St should be the second house on your right

Let’s say you are traveling from the east, near Columbia Heights:

  • Get onto Columbia Rd NW, traveling toward the Adams Morgan neighborhood. 

  • Once you reach the intersection of Columbia Rd NW and Adams Mill Rd NW, turn right.

  • Continue on Adams Mill Rd NW until it becomes Calvert St NW, then continue on Calvert St NW over the Duke Ellington Memorial Bridge, and past 28th St NW until you reach the intersection of Calvert St and 29th St. 

  • Calvert St NW will turn slightly right and become Cleveland Ave NW. Continue on Cleveland Ave for 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection of Garfield St and Cleveland Ave. 

  • Take a slight left onto Garfield St and continue for 0.5 miles, passing the St. Albans Tennis Courts along the way until you reach Massachusetts Ave NW.

  • Turn right onto Massachusetts Ave NW and continue straight for one mile until you reach Ward Circle Park. Stay in the middle two lanes, and continue straight onto Massachusetts Ave NW for 1.1 miles, passing the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center, until you reach Westmoreland Circle. 

  • At Westmoreland Cir NW, turn right onto Western Ave NW. Continue until you reach the next right at Brandywine St, then turn right. 4964 Brandywine St should be the second house on your right.

Let’s say you are traveling from the west, near Foxhall Village:

  • Take Reservoir Rd NW toward the Mount Vernon Campus of George Washington University. Once you reach Whitehaven Pkwy NW, continue straight and continue onto MacArthur Blvd NW.

  • Continue straight for 1.7 miles, passing Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, the Potomac Palisades Parkway, and Macomb St, until you reach Loughboro Rd NW. 

  • Take a right onto Loughboro Rd and continue past the Sibley Memorial Hospital, then turn left onto Dalecarlia Pkwy NW. 

  • Continue north past the Dalecarlia Reservoir Grounds until you reach Westmoreland Circle NW. Then, take the 2nd exit onto Western Ave NW.

  • Take the first right onto Brandywine St. 4964 Brandywine St should be the second house on your right.
